Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed. John 8v36
When one is set free, it means you have the freedom to do whatever you want to do, but when one has a reproach it might hinder you from reaching/achieving your goal. It takes the grace of God to be set free. Reproach means disgrace, discredit. It is also an object of scorn or contempt. According to the word of God, anything that cost us our joy is a reproach such as: sickness, poverty, bareness, unfruitfulness, joblessness, divorce.
Jesus Christ took away all our shame and reproach, and was delivered to be crucified, but Praise be to God, Jesus is alive forevermore! He no longer bears our reproach and guilt, for He has forever discharged them completely by His blood. Our Altar is Christ, he is our sacrifice, and he is our savior. Our Altar provides forgiveness, cleansing , life , hope, and joy.
What does it mean to be above reproach? Obviously it is not being perfect or faultless, being above reproach means having a blameless reputation and life fully devoted to Christ. Job was a man after God’s heart and he still faced reproach, but the most joyful part of it is that he came out of the reproach a better person Job 27v6.
Jesus Christ gives repentance to those that come to feel their need of a Physician to heal them. If you trust in God you can never be consumed by any reproach, you will come out of it and stand becoming a useful vessel in the hands of God. Jabez cried to God and God heard him and his reproach was taken away 1st chronicle 4v9-10. In John chp.11 Lazarus was already dead and rotten, Jesus called him to come out. He came out of his bondage and his hands and feet that were bind were set free. He became whole again. I decree in Jesus name that you will be set free today and you will possess your possession.
Brethren as we tarry in the presence of God, the Lord will set you free and believe that all things are possible through Christ that strengthens you, Psalm 91 should continuously be your prayer and your story will be like joy that cometh in the morning which endureth forever Amen.
God bless you!
