Our lives will bring glory to God and draw others to Christ, only when they are transformed to the image of Christ. The transformed life is a new type of life; A new nature or a changed nature. It is also the act of coming into right relationship with God, forsaking one old way of life, and living in conformity to Christ. Thetransformed life demands service to Christ. A Christian should be known for his faithfulness, diligence, and commitment to the works of God.
Evidences of a Transformed Life
1. No more struggle with sin and Satan. Romans 6:14; Ephesians 5:1-2; Philippians 2:5
2. It affects the people around us. Acts 9:20-22
3. There will be total commitment to Christ and His work. John 6:29; 9:4; Acts 2:42; Mark 16:15-17; Matthew 28:18-20
4. It preaches to others. Galations 1:15-16; Matthew 5:13-16
5. There would be unity and love in the church. Acts 2:44-46
6. The heart is drawn to God in true praises, prayer, and fellowship. Acts 2:47
7. It gives willingly without compelling to do so. Acts. 2:45
Characteristics of a Transformed Life
1. Faith in the Savior. Hebrews 11:6; Matthew 17:20
2. Fervor in prayer and supplication. Philippians 4:6; Colossians 4:2
3. Constant communion. 1 Corinthians 15:58; Acts 2:42-47
4. Faithfulness in service. Hebrews 6:11-12; 10:35-36
